Annabel

In 2023, Annabel Cerame began complaining about fatigue, abdominal pain and illness. Always the one caring for others, she was reluctant to seek medical attention herself. She went to the emergency room on insistence from her son, where they received the unfortunate news that she was in liver failure. She was placed on the national transplant waiting list and, seven months later, as time was running out, Annabel received her lifesaving liver transplant thanks to a generous organ donor. She is doing exceptionally well, and her resilience and positive outlook continues to inspire everyone around her.
